The McDermott group is seeking an HSEQ Advisor based in Perth, Scotland. You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards in health, safety, environmental protection, and quality management.

Overview of the Role

• HSEQ Officer
• Holidays: 30 days, with 1 additional day per year of service (max 5 days), plus a holiday buy-back scheme of 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage and liaise with HSEQ auditors to maintain company accreditations.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain procedures within the Quality Management System.
• Train and advise employees on HSEQ matters to ensure legal compliance.
• Plan and conduct audits, document findings, and recommend improvements.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safe operational procedures.
• Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
• Lead internal training sessions on QHSE topics.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and accidents; produce reports and statistics.
• Stay updated on HSE legislation and industry developments.
• Manage hazardous substances and emergency procedures.
• Possess NEBOSH General or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in MS Office and experienced with risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and DSE.
• Have auditor training/experience and the ability to implement processes and change.
• Hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel.
• Must have full rights to work in the UK (IDLR or Settled Status).
