We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the role of Head of the Division of Dentistry and Deputy Head of the School of Medical Sciences to lead and shape our dental school’s strategic direction.
You will lead a diverse division, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and innovation. Working with students, regulators, NHS, and community partners, you will develop new programs and innovative approaches to dental education, ensuring outstanding student experiences and impactful research. You will also contribute to the University’s Manchester 2035 Strategy and the Faculty’s interdisciplinary goals.
The ideal candidate will have a distinguished record in dentistry or oral health, significant senior leadership experience, and a strong international reputation in research or pedagogy. You should have a proven ability to secure funding, develop partnerships, and lead multidisciplinary teams. An understanding of the global context of dental education and research, and a capacity for strategic innovation, are essential.
