Job summary

A leading university and research institution is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Fellow in Infectious Diseases at Southampton General Hospital. The successful candidate will support a funded research programme focusing on rapid diagnostic tests. Applicants must be clinically trained with an MBBS or equivalent, possess research experience, and be registered with the GMC. This position offers a salary range of £38,831 to £73,992 pro rata per annum, with a fixed term until 28/02/2029.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent, MRCP or equivalent, completion of Core Medical Training (CMT) or equivalent.
• Research experience supported by high quality publications and research outputs.
• Fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).

Responsibilities

• Support the NIHR funded research programme on rapid diagnostic tests.
• Contribute to and deliver a programme of clinical infectious diseases research.
