About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee a prestigious residential apartment development in Cambridge with a project value of around £7 million. This is a key role within a growing M&E contractor known for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use schemes across the South East.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of mechanical installation works, including heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Oversee QA processes and ensure all installations meet project specifications and industry standards
- Coordinate closely with design teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation across the mechanical scope
- Ensure H&S compliance and maintain accurate project documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical PM on residential projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical installation best practices
- Ability to manage QA processes and drive quality assurance on-site
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience managing projects of similar scale (£5m–£10m) preferred
