Integral Staff are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our well-established client for a Lead Transport Planner based in Dartford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transport professional to join a dynamic logistics team and take ownership of day-to-day planning operations.
Salary : £35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum
Location : Dartford
Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00am – 5 : 00pm
- Lead the daily transport planning activities, ensuring efficient routing and scheduling of deliveries and collections.
- Manage driver allocations and vehicle utilisation to maximise efficiency and reduce costs.
- Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure smooth operations and high service levels.
- Monitor transport performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain compliance with all transport legislation and company policies.
- Support and mentor junior planners or coordinators where required.
- Previous experience in a Transport Planner or similar logistics role (essential).
- Strong knowledge of UK transport regulations and route planning.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in transport management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
