Senior Project Manager - Permanent - Birmingham - Tier 1 Contractor - Water Projects - Civil Engineering

Due to continued success and significant growth, they are now seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team.

Your new role
As Senior Project Manager, you will be based out of their Birmingham office and be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Monitoring and reviewing delivery and financial performance on projects
2. Ensuring successful project delivery by liaising with the delivery team throughout the course of the schemes
3. Creating and maintaining project programmes
4. Approving invoices and ensuring payments are made within timescales
5. Liaising with key project stakeholders including local authorities and the client
6. Holding accountability for H&S auditing.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:

1. Proven successful track record in managing projects from inception through to completion within the water (clean or waste) industry, with a focus on cost control, quality and safety
2. Strong team leadership and people management skills
3. Experience in working with NEC contracts
4. Sound communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with key project stakeholders at all levels.
