A leading healthcare provider is seeking an Anaesthesia Training Programme Director in Liverpool to oversee the teaching program and ensure adherence to national standards. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in anaesthesia education, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in healthcare education. The Anaesthesia Training Programme Director for Teaching for the North West (Mersey) Rotation will support the Head of School/Associate Head of School in delivering excellence in teaching and training courses.
The post holder will lead on the development of the School's Teaching Programme and collate and act on feedback from courses.
The post holder will be a member of the School Speciality Training Committee.
Work in collaboration with Head of School of Anaesthesia/Associate Head of Anaesthesia and local trainers and trainees to ensure high quality teaching and training for trainees on the North West (Mersey) rotation.
To work with the Head of School of Anaesthesia/ Associate Head of Anaesthesia to support all trainers and trainees leading teaching and training courses on the North West (Mersey) rotation to arrange and review feedback for courses and aid in looking for positive changes in response.

The Programme Director will ensure that both national standards, determined by the Royal College, and guidelines and standards established within Anaesthesia are met.
