Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for numerous Permanent Production Operatives, for a client located in Newton Aycliffe. Reporting into the Section Leader. Training can take upwards of 2 years to learn one production line so candidates must be willing to work for our client on a long-term basis - it can take 10 years to learn a variety of lines.

• To manufacture weather seals in a safe manner. (Extrusions Department)

• To work in the section in a safe and efficient manner to achieve the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Targets (OEE, Scrap, OTIF ,Quality Standards , Throughput and Productivity).
• Work as part of the team on agreed objectives with Section Leader and Production Manager.

• Actively promote the Quanex CREED
• Support Section Leader in achieving through objectives.
• Ensure informative handover is effectively communicated to succeeding operator, any points of note written, signed and dated; in handover book.
• Any other duties deemed necessary by Section Leader.

• Exposure to manufacturing environment

Hourly rate: 12.36 per hour basic, plus 20% shift allowance.

Annual salary including 20% shift allowance: 30,850

Working a 3-shift pattern of 10pm to 6am, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm. First couple of weeks will be spent completing the relevant training/induction; during this period candidates will be working a day shift of 8am to 4pm.
