Overview

Production Supervisor — Workshop Based, commutable from Sheffield, Rotherham, Worksop, Chesterfield, Dronfield and surrounding areas.

Highly Competitive Salary (to be discussed at prescreen stage) + Days Based Shift (Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm, 39.5hrs) + Early finish on Friday (7:30am-1:00pm) + Holiday + Pension + Company Benefits (EAP, Bike2Work, Referral Scheme).

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a background in management/ supervisor, experience working in manufacturing and knowledge of lean or improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production department and ensure that all H&S, KPIs and Quality standards are being met across the site.
• Planning, scheduling and management of production staff.
• Overseeing and managing projects to improve efficiency and profits.
• Work alongside senior management to implement improvement projects in the longer term.

Qualifications

• Production Supervisor/ Workshop Manager/ Machining Supervisor, Manufacturing Team Leader
• Management experience from a production/manufacturing background
• Knowledge and experience of lean and/or improvement methods in manufacturing
• Have managed stock control and supply
