Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of production machinery and plant, through the team; ensure that the standards set are maintained and improved within the area of responsibility.
• Responsible for production and quality on the shift, ensuring production requirements are achieved and that production schedules are followed.
• Complete quality audit forms on surface quality and report defects to the Senior Operator; the Senior Operator will decide on and implement any necessary course of action.
• Ensure at all times the necessary materials and equipment are in place to optimize plant performance.
• Ensure all work schedules are followed and adhered to; any deviation from schedule must be reported through the operations management structure using the computer database and e-mail.
• Ensure training records are always up to date.
• Use downtime effectively and maintain housekeeping to a high standard.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 42hrs per week
