A major print management company is seeking a Print Buyer with strong Point of Sale experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging knowledge and networking skills, building sustainable supplier relationships, and managing contracts with key suppliers to achieve optimal results.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, as your duties will include ensuring all materials are purchased at the most competitive prices, with delivery, quality, and service meeting the required standards for all projects. You should also be an organized individual, responsible for end-to-end administration related to your tasks.

You must be a considerate team player, working closely with sales, product marketing, design, and production teams.

Skills & Experience

• Sound knowledge and understanding of all print production processes.
• Minimum 4 years of printed Point of Sale buying experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills, especially in communication and negotiation.
• A team player capable of prioritizing schedules and managing workload, with timely issue reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Using print knowledge, review and identify cost-effective printing/finishing and distribution methods, maximizing value for money while maintaining quality, timings, and service levels.
• Project manage multiple jobs at various production stages with brands and suppliers, including proof approval.
• Produce accurate print specifications, select appropriate suppliers, and request quotes.
• Review submitted costs, identify discrepancies, potential cost savings, and negotiation opportunities.
