Secondary PE Teacher

We are seeking a Secondary PE Teacher to join a vibrant school in Godalming on a temporary basis from the 21st November until the end of the Christmas term. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and energetic professional who is passionate about physical education and fostering a love for sports among students.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to the abilities of all students.
• Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students.
• Organise and coordinate sports activities and events.
• Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to enhance their skills.
• Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for all physical activities.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate physical education with other school programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in physical education.
• Experience in teaching PE at the secondary level.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Commitment to professional development and learning.
