An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified reporting radiographer to work as part of a team of Advanced Practitioners within the Royal Stoke, County and Peripheral Imaging Departments at UHNM contributing to a high quality and efficient reporting service to include any of the following specialities; MRI, CT, Plain Film Reporting in Chest and Abdomen and/or MSK Plain Film Reporting.

Working as part of a team of Advanced Practitioners to provide a high quality and efficient on site reporting service.

Job responsibilities

The successful candidate will work as part of a team of Advanced Practitioners within the Royal Stoke, County and Peripheral Imaging Departments at UHNM contributing to a high quality and efficient reporting service to include any of the following specialities; MRI, CT, Plain Film Reporting in Chest and Abdomen and/or MSK Plain Film Reporting.

Person Specification
  • BSc Diagnostic Radiography/DCR(R) with current HCPC registration
  • Post Graduate Qualification in relevant reporting speciality
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in leadership and speciality practice
Clinical Experience
  • Proven ability to deliver autonomous high quality image reports independent of a radiologist.
  • Evidence of service-improvement involvement
Knowledge and Governance
  • Sound knowledge of NHS policies, clinical governance and infection control standards
  • Upholds ethical, legal and safeguarding frameworks in all aspects of practice
Analytical and Decision-Making Skills
  • Experience in service-improvement initiatives
IT and Technical Proficiency
  • Computerised Radiology Information System (CRIS), PACS Based Reporting System and Electronic Patient Record (EPR).
