Lead Practitioner - Leaving Care & Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Child

About the Role: These roles are an exciting opportunity to directly support young people and hold a caseload as well as leading and supporting development work. This is a great opportunity for those seeking progression and aspiring leaders to take on additional responsibility outside of direct work. We are seeking two dynamic, tenacious and proactive Lead Practitioners to further enhance our service. You will have experience managing complex cases, asylum‑seeking young people and supporting young adults transitioning between children's and adult services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Hold a caseload of young people and support them through the transition to independence or adult services.
  • Lead and support development work, ensuring best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Manage complex asylum‑seeking cases and support young adults transitioning between children's and adult services.
  • Provide supervision and line management to staff where appropriate.
About you

This is an opportunity for candidates who want to undertake this role as part of their professional development or to experience a different area of work or for experienced existing lead practitioners to take on a new role. You will be an adaptable and capable practitioner who is dedicated and passionate about supporting the needs of care leavers. This successful candidate will also have an opportunity to provide supervision and line management to staff.
