Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Payroll Officer to join a successful services business in Whiteley. The role involves managing contractor payroll, handling payroll queries, and entering tax details. Ideal candidates will have strong data entry skills and experience with CIS. The position offers a starting salary of £30,000 with the potential for one day of remote work per week after three months.
Qualifications
- Experience with Contractor payroll is highly advantageous.
- Strong data entry skills is essential.
- Experience with CIS is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Checking and entering timesheets and expenses.
- Running and sending out reports.
- Entering P45/New Starter Checklists and other tax details.
- Ensuring correct paperwork has been received.
- Dealing with payroll queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Skills
Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a successful services business in their search a Payroll Officer on a permanent basis. In this role you will be working with the larger payroll team, as well as the wider finance team in general.
- Checking and entering timesheets and expenses
- Running and sending out reports
- Entering P45/New Starter Checklists and other tax details
- Ensuring correct paperwork has been received
- Dealing with payroll queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with Contractor payroll is highly advantageous
- Experience with CIS is beneficial
- Strong data entry skills is essential
- Starting from £30,000 depending on experience
- Based in Whiteley, 5 days a week in the office. There is the option of 1 day a week from home if you are there for over 3 months
