Job summary
A well-established recruitment agency is seeking a General Operative for a manufacturing role in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of manufacturing experience and be proficient in using SAP and Excel for data entry. Responsibilities include inspecting parts, loading and unloading vehicles, and maintaining company standards during production. This position offers a temporary to permanent opportunity with competitive pay between £12.21 - £12.40 per hour, based on experience.
Qualifications
- Current FLT Counterbalance license.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience using computer systems.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and check parts from the production team.
- Finish parts to end standard on main assembly line.
- Update in-house SAP system and maintain spreadsheets.

We are currently recruiting for a well established manufacturing company based in Tipton, This will be a temporary – permanent role for the right candidate. We are looking for a good all rounder who has manufacturing and production experience, You will be involved In production team duties , working with part assembled and finished products but someone who is computer literate as you will be using SAP Systems and Data entry using Excel
- Inspect and Check parts from the production team and press shop
- Finish parts to end standard on main assembly line
- Photocopy paperwork and make notes on any defects on parts
- Undertake hardness testing on parts Recieved
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- You will be updating inhouse SAP System
- You also be updating real time information on spreadsheets so using Excel and Word packages
- Undertake departmental housekeeping as required and maintain company standards
- Any other duties as and when needed
The ideal candidate will need :
- Current FLT Counterbalance license
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience using Computer Systems
- Experience in using SAP excel, word & Outlook
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, accomplish work in order of priority.
- Ability to be organised, detailed and accurate
This will be working Monday - Friday 6.00am - 2.00pm Paying £12.21 - £12.40ph dependent on experince
