Job summary

Qualifications

Senior HSE Advisor

Linxon

Permanent

The Senior HSE Advisor leads and oversees programs and practices to ensure an exemplary health and safety culture as well as a strong focus on the environment throughout Linxon operations. The role ensures alignment with HSE standards and policies as per Linxon's HSE strategy, provides input into business development, serves ECI contracts through documentation and client start-up meetings, and offers HSE advice and guidance to operational teams working in a high hazard environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility (KARs)
  • Ensure HSE risk identification and controls are applied across Linxon operations.
  • Drive behavioural change to continuously improve HSE performance through initiatives and training to raise awareness and commitment across the project team.
  • Develop and maintain sustainability, including environmental mitigation measures.
  • Ensure operational sites maintain and update the SWMP and utility usage on a monthly basis.
  • Interface with headquarters, site staff and subcontracted companies on environmental issues, including compliance with permits and consents.
  • Create and maintain tender and project documentation, including Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans (CPP), ensuring changes are communicated to main contractors.
  • Monitor compliance with the Linxon HSE management system, Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan (CPP), and Construction Phase Environmental Management Plan (CEMP).
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure actions are closed out in a timely manner.
  • Provide HSE guidance, advice and support, investigate accidents and serious incidents, report findings, and ensure actions prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure Linxon BMS is in compliance with relevant ISO standards and updated to reflect good practices.
  • Input data into Eco-Online (Incident Database) as required.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the HSE, Quality and other function teams as required.
Qualifications
  • NEBOSH Certificate - required
  • NEBOSH Diploma - preferred
  • IEMA Certificate - preferred
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in an HSE function, ideally in the EPC environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of general HSE regulatory requirements.
  • Fluency in English – both written and spoken.
  • Environmental experience.
  • Incident Investigation experience.
