A focused property management company in Manchester seeks an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of 500-700 units. You will manage a growing team while ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has at least five years of block property management experience, particularly with large estates and high-rise buildings. Strong financial administration knowledge and interpersonal skills are critical. This role offers a unique work environment focusing on quality service rather than quantity, ensuring manageable unit loads for each manager.
Due to continuing growth, our client is looking to strengthen their team with a Senior Property Manager, tasked with caring for a few medium-large developments (circa 500 – 700 units) and being involved with managing their team of 35 and growing, though primarily focused on managing buildings. They are on the lookout for someone who enjoys property management and wants to be given the breathing space to provide an excellent service, rather than being overloaded with thousands of units. They need someone with at least five years of prior experience as a Block Property Manager, preferably large estates and high-rise buildings and those with previous/ongoing cladding remediation too.
As an experienced Property Manager, you'd be well aware of the day-to-day duties, which would include:
Our client is very much a team that works closely and learns from each other every day, as no two days in this industry are ever the same. They excel because their focus is on customer service, so they keep unit numbers per Property Manager lower than any other agent, to ensure each block gets a good level of attention and their staff aren't overworked. They aren't a national agent and will never be as the service is never close to that of a good, local agent.
They have grown considerably in the last five years but have done so carefully, choosing their clients and setting reasonable fees – they don't low ball to win business. They are keen not to make the same mistakes as the big agents and are open to ideas and innovation to help improve their services and the work environment of the team.
If that sounds interesting, then please apply!
