Contract Type: Temporary (3 months)
Hourly Rate: £15.00 - £18.00
Start Date: ASAP

Are you an organised and proactive individual eager to dive into an exciting executive support role? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you! Our public sector client is gearing up for a new project launch and is looking for a dedicated Executive Support Officer to join their vibrant team. This role not only allows you to contribute to something special but also offers the potential for a permanent position after the contract ends.

What You'll Do:
As an Executive Support Officer, you will be the backbone of the leadership team, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Diary Management: organise complex schedules, prioritise workloads, and handle paperwork to keep the Executive team on track.
  • Meeting Support: Act as Meeting Secretary by preparing documents, taking minutes, and following up on action items to ensure effective meetings.
  • Information Management: Condense and filter communications, saving valuable time for the Directors.
  • Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams and external partners, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Office Management: Oversee the setup of the office and daily operations to create a welcoming workplace.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate internal and external events, making them memorable and efficient.
  • Travel Arrangements: Book travel, hotels, and conferences with ease.

What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following essential qualities:

  • Proven experience as a PA/EA, supporting senior-level executives.
  • Previous public sector experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent diary management skills and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A flexible attitude that allows for quick changes in focus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience in producing accurate, timely meeting minutes.
