Job summary
A caring organization in the Tees Valley is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support residents with personal care and everyday activities. The successful candidates will provide companionship and help maintain residents' independence. Experience is desirable but training is available. The role requires flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
Qualifications
- Previous care experience desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2.
- Caring, patient, and commitment to person-centred care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care and mobility.
- Support residents during mealtimes and activities.
- Monitor and record wellbeing, reporting concerns.

Education
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join a dedicated care team. You will support residents with personal care and everyday activities, helping them maintain independence and dignity in a caring and supportive environment.
- Assist residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, mobility).
- Support residents during mealtimes and activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor and record wellbeing, reporting concerns to senior staff.
- Promote independence, choice, and dignity in daily living.
- Work as part of a team to create a positive care environment.
- Previous care experience desirable but not essential (training provided).
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Caring, patient, and committed to delivering person-centred care.
- Flexible and able to work shifts, including weekends.
