Qualifications

  • Two years of NHS experience working as a doctor.

Responsibilities

  • Review and manage inpatients and the team caseload.
  • Attend ward rounds, team meetings and Care Programme Approach meetings.
  • Carry out risk assessments and formulate appropriate risk-management plans.
  • Develop and implement care plans for patients.
  • Conduct physical health monitoring, including examinations.
  • Liaise with GPs and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and clear record-keeping.
  • Participate in service evaluation, audit, research, and quality improvement activities.
  • Engage in service development and clinical governance activities.
  • Participate in academic activities, including teaching.
  • Receive regular supervision and support.
