A recruitment agency is seeking a Year 2 Primary Teacher for a full-time position in a mainstream school near Bridport. The role involves planning, preparation, and engaging with parents. Ideal candidates should have QTS, a year of experience in Key Stage 1, and updated safeguarding training. This is a temporary role with a start date of ASAP and is expected to last until July 2026.
Qualificações
- Minimum 1 year Key Stage 1 teaching experience in the UK.
- Hold Right to Work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate.

- Class Teacher - planning, preparation, marking, parents evenings.
- Deliver high-quality teaching to Year 2 pupils.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Year 2 Primary Teacher for an Primary school near to Bridport DT6.
The school is a one-form entry mainstream Primary School. The position is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

Position - Y2 Primary Teacher
Type of work - Class Teacher - planning, preparation, marking, parents evenings etc

Duration / Likely Duration - Academic Year
Contract or position end date (if applicable) - July 2026
Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary
Full time/part time - Full time
Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP145 per day
Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS or equivalent
Minimum 1 year Key Stage 1 teaching experience in the UK
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
