About the Room Leader position
An amazing opportunity has arisen within the MiChild group. We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and organized individual to join our team as a Room Leader at Little Angels Nursery.
If you are highly motivated, flexible, experienced in early years education, and have a genuine passion for working with children, then this is the role for you.
Room Leader responsibilities include:
- Implementing the nursery curriculum as a room leader.
- Providing high standards of quality within the nursery, including environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.
- Leading planning and maintaining accurate children's records.
- Promoting and facilitating partnerships with parents, carers, and family members.
- Supporting good practice regarding special needs and inclusion.
- Collaborating with the Childcare and Education team to improve childcare and education quality.
- Ensuring children's safety and staff understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Meeting children's nutritional needs and complying with Food Safety Regulations.
- Adhering to relevant legislation, including the Children Acts 1989 and 2004, and company policies.
- Keeping up-to-date with developments in childcare and education policy and practice.
Room Leader requirements:
- Level 3 qualification.
- Understanding of Ofsted requirements.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience working with children and families.
- Extensive safeguarding knowledge.
- Experience working with parents and outside agencies.
- Managing and maintaining administrative requirements.
