Sales & Marketing Manager / Sales Lead Generator / Lead Development Specialist required to join a leading process instrumentation company.
The successful Sales & Marketing Manager / Sales Lead Generator / Lead Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business leads, supporting the external sales team, and contributing to overall business growth.
Office based in Manchester.
£45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience

- Generate and qualify new business leads through research, social media, cold calling, and marketing campaigns.
- Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and determine sales readiness.
- Support the internal and external sales teams by sharing qualified leads and customer insights.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, analysing data to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with marketing to align lead generation strategies with company objectives.
- Stay current with industry trends, products, and process instrumentation solutions.
- Previous experience in lead generation, sales and marketing, lead development specialist, sales lead generation, or a similar commercial role within engineering or instrumentation.
- Technical understanding of process instrumentation, sensors, valves, pressure, temperature, level, flow, analytical, or similar mechanical engineering products.
- Previous background within sales and marketing.
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building and analytical skills.
- Proactive, organised, and tenacious approach to finding and developing new business.
- Must be easily commutable to Manchester
