Maintenance Lead – Manufacturing Reliability & TPM
Job summary
A leading manufacturer of insulation materials in Birmingham is seeking a Maintenance Lead to manage operational maintenance and enhance equipment reliability. You will report to the Operations Manager and lead a small maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or electrical engineering degree, a strong maintenance background, and experience with maintenance systems like SAP. This role includes responsibilities in problem-solving, continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Join us to help make a sustainable impact.

Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Electrical or Lean Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent maintenance-focused qualification).
- Strong maintenance background ideally from a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
- Experience using computer-based maintenance systems (SAP / MRP desirable).
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualified with additional project management certification preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing maintenance teams in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Own reliability and maintenance for all manufacturing equipment and site facilities.
- Lead problem-solving on maintenance reliability and process issues.
- Drive continuous improvement cost savings and a TPM culture aimed at zero breakdowns.
