A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Quality Manager in Denby Dale, England. The successful candidate will manage the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. Responsibilities include leading quality assessments, mentoring staff, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing and possess strong leadership skills.
Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ISO standards across the Group.
- Participate in senior management reviews to influence the business plan.
- Manage all QA and QC activities and lead quality improvement initiatives.
Skills
We are delighted to be working with a valued client in the manufacturing sector, recruiting a Quality Manager to play a key role in the continued growth of the business. To be successful in this position, you will take responsibility and ownership for managing the Quality Management System and ensuring that processes and manufactured products fully comply with and exceed demanding customer expectations.
- Develop and implement ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 across the Group, including reviewing existing elements or starting from scratch where needed.
- Participate in senior management reviews, directly influencing the business plan and key performance indicators.
- Continually evolve best working practices and procedures to deliver ISO9001 and ISO14001 excellence and certification.
- Take overall responsibility for the Quality and Procedure Manuals.
- Mentor, develop and support the Quality Administrator.
- Coordinate and support all QA and QC activities within the company and represent the UK at group level.
- Manage all customer quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead supplier quality assessments and improvement initiatives.
- Be responsible for production test & inspection activities and resources.
- Coordinate environmental initiatives.
- Champion root cause analysis and preventative actions.
- Actively support New Product Development activities.
- To be successful, you will have previous experience in a similar, senior Quality position within a manufacturing environment.
- You will excel at delivering the highest levels of best working practices.
- Additionally, you will be an outstanding leader with the ability to influence both direct reports and others within the business.
