Deputy Service Manager - South Shields - £29,991.00 per annum.

Typical Shifts: Monday to Sunday, working over 3‑5 days per week, including early/late or double shifts; 7:45am‑3:15pm, 2:45pm‑10:15pm or 7:45am‑10:15pm.

On-call: will be covered by the Senior Management Team on a rota basis.

Deputy Service Managers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Deputy Service Manager to join us in leading our ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service – Cleadon Court in South Shields. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of colleagues with the purpose of helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives.
• Develop and implement person‑centred support plans.
• Conduct care needs assessments.
• Recruit and induct new colleagues.
• Complete supervisions/appraisals.
• Complete medication competencies and medication audits.
• Attend multi‑disciplinary meetings.
• Complete reports and generally assist the Registered Manager in the day‑to‑day management of our service.
• Participate in the on‑call rota (subject to change depending on the needs of the service).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care management role.
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience working with individuals with an acquired brain injury.
