Job summary

A growing property management company is seeking a Senior Property Manager in Borehamwood. The successful candidate will manage maintenance contracts, communicate with clients effectively, and ensure services meet health and safety standards. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong organisational skills and be IRPM qualified. Offering a competitive salary of £35,000–£45,000, this role also includes benefits such as annual leave and car salary sacrifice scheme. Hybrid working is considered.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of managing services and maintenance contracts.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with clients and leaseholders.
  • Experience in preparing annual service charge budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate and manage all services and maintenance contracts.
  • Ensure quality of services provided and identify building repairs.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and respond to enquiries.

Senior Property Manager

OA are recruiting for a Senior Property Manager to join our client's dynamic and growing team.

We're looking for a Senior Property Manager who will be responsible for co‑ordinating and managing all services and maintenance contracts and to communicate with clients and leaseholders/freeholders in line with the contracted management agreement to run and maintain their block/development accordingly.

Location: Borehamwood

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am‑5:30pm. Hybrid working considered.

Salary: £35,000‑£45,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing annual service charge budgets
  • Insurance claims handling
  • Inspection of sites to ensure the quality of services provided are satisfactory and to identify building repairs in line with health and safety issues.
  • Health & Safety Compliance
  • Coordinate contractors
  • Liaise with other team members and departments
  • Build strong and proactive relationships with your clients
  • Respond to leasehold enquiries in an efficient manner
  • Attend external meetings as needed
Skills and Experience
  • Strong management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills

  • The ability to multitask
  • You will ideally be IRPM qualified
  • Knowledge of property management principles and procedures
  • Good soft skills when dealing with people to empathise and understand the customers' needs

  • Ability to use Microsoft Word
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
