The interim contract support manager will be responsible for managing key contract support and customer service functions to enable the delivery, development, and improvement of key Council contracts and frontline services across Contracts and Services.

• Manage administrative, technical support, and projects for the Commercial Services and Contracts Division.
• Work closely with other managers in the Service Area and Directorate; liaise with contractors, residents, other departments, and external organisations to address queries and issues related to services.
• Assist the Digital team in improving system responses to reduce volumes of councillor and public responses via digital channels.
• Manage the Contract Support Team to maintain accurate records, databases, and procedures supporting the delivery of key Council frontline services.
• Produce reports on the financial performance of the Division and verify all contract invoices and payments to ensure income targets are met.
• Ensure the Contract Support Team is the first point of contact for the Council and stakeholders regarding contracts and frontline services, including timely responses to customer correspondence.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders and oversee administrative functions.
