Contracts Manager – Commercial Flooring Projects
Job summary
A construction management recruitment firm is seeking a Contracts Manager for commercial flooring projects based in Newmarket. Responsibilities include overseeing projects, managing site activity, and ensuring that materials are delivered on time. Candidates must have extensive experience within the construction industry, ideally with technical knowledge of various flooring types, and must excel in communication and organization. This position offers competitive remuneration between GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 plus a discretionary bonus.

- Experience with project sizes of GBP250,000+.
- Ability to gain DBS / EL1 security checks.
Responsibilities
- Oversee various commercial flooring projects.
- Monitor site activity and collate risk assessments.
- Organize delivery of materials and ensure timely arrival.
- Ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining cost plans.
- Liaise with clients and provide project reports.
- Attend pre-contract and progress meetings.
- Manage projects ranging in value from GBP250,000 to GBP2,000,000.
