A financial services firm in Manchester is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant for a hybrid role. Responsibilities include maintaining statements, managing payroll, and preparing invoices using SAGE. Strong communication skills and experience with Excel are essential. One of our key clients in the heart of Manchester is looking to add to their finance team with an experienced Finance Assistant. This is a hybrid role with 2 days working from home, 35 hours per week. The company encourages professional development for all staff.
- Maintain statements and reports and provide daily updates; process payments; manage payroll amendments, deductions and queries; prepare and process invoices in SAGE; review Bacs reports and issue to the relevant departments; send through daily and monthly reports as required for the CFO and other relevant departments.
- Ideal candidate will be able to follow instructions accurately; be effective with communication skills - both verbal and written; can work on their own or as part of a team; strong experience with Excel spreadsheets; good understanding of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and SAGE 200.
