Job summary
A growing hospitality group in Manchester is seeking a part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk who can manage supplier invoices using Xero. With a salary of £25,000 per annum for flexible 30 hours per week, the role offers opportunities for career growth in a vibrant team. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 18 months experience in purchase ledger and possess strong attention to detail and communication skills. Qualifications
- At least 18 months of experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable.
- Proficient with Xero and familiar with its features.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles, including VAT.
Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices and credit notes in Xero.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and process payment runs.
- Respond to supplier queries and work with the finance team.
- Support month-end close process including accruals and reporting.
