A leading heavy manufacturer near Derby is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer for a permanent full-time position. Duties include ensuring safe operation of machinery, leading preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. Ideal candidates will possess an Electrical or Multiskilled Engineering Apprenticeship and experience in production environments. Are you a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a permanent full-time role based near Derby? We have an exciting opportunity to join a successful and well-established heavy manufacturer.
In this role, you will focus on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment, working varied shifts (Monday to Friday) to lead preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical fault-finding, and troubleshooting. You\'ll be involved in diagnosing and resolving equipment breakdowns across machine tools, conveyors, DC tooling, and CNC systems, working closely with the Manufacturing Engineering team to support continuous improvement and compliance with safety regulations.
Ideally, you\'ll have completed an Electrical or Multiskilled Engineering Apprenticeship and be qualified to HNC level or hold equivalent experience. Experience in a fast-paced production environment and knowledge of reactive and proactive maintenance practices would be ideal.
