Overview

Maintenance Engineer — Permanent — Bridgwater — £37,000 - £45,000

Following on from a brand new partnership with a global leading manufacturing company, YT Technologies are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our clients high performing Manufacturing team.

What you'll be tasked with
  • Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across all site machinery and infrastructure
  • Respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions
  • Support operations by resolving mechanical issues that impact production efficiency
  • Collaborate with others in the Manufacturing Systems Engineering department and other teams to improve reliability and resolve complex faults
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and site procedures
  • Communicate with departments to keep them up to date with maintenance plans and machine handovers
  • Assist with commissioning and upgrades of machinery and facilities
  • Assist with set up and configuration of site facilities

You\'ll need to have good experience in machine and facilities maintenance within a manufacturing environment, and showcase some of the following skills

  • Strong fault finding and problem-solving ability
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Rapid, confident decision-making in urgent situations
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks

The role is 8.30am to 16.30pm Monday to Thursday with a 1pm finish on Fridays.

The position comes with an 8% bonus and an array of other benefits and features.
