Maintenance Engineer – Lazonby, Cumbria

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 DOE + Overtime + Call Out (1 in 4 - OTE Circa £60,000) + 29 Days Holiday + EAP + Gym Discounts + Cycle to Work Scheme + Free Parking. Hours: 38.75 Hours per Week - Double Days.

The Maintenance Engineer is required for a well-established food producer with a history of over 75 years. This is a varied role with involvement in projects and continuous improvements. The company has doubled in size over the last five years and has exciting growth plans for the future. The role suits a qualified engineer with a mechanical, electrical or electronic bias; candidates from any production background or similar are encouraged to apply. Ex-forces candidates will also be suited to the role.

The successful candidate will join a small team responsible for day-to-day maintenance of production equipment across two factories. You will carry out repair work and investigate root causes to implement corrective measures, as well as PPMs. The company has exciting projects underway which this role will also play a key part in, offering new challenges daily.
