Job summary
A leading technical recruitment firm is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician in Heanor. You will perform electrical maintenance, diagnose faults, and support equipment installations. The ideal candidate holds a recognized qualification in engineering/electrical and has knowledge of wiring regulations. Offering a competitive salary of £48,000 and additional benefits including an enhanced pension and holiday entitlement.

- Hold a recognised qualification in engineering/electrical.
- Knowledge of 17th/18th edition wiring regulations.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and fault finding on PLCs.
Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machines.
- Support plant improvements to enhance performance.
- Install, commission, and integrate new machinery and equipment.
Skills
Education
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm.
Salary: £48,000.
Location: Heanor, Derbyshire.

- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machines, control panels, motors, sensors, PLCs, and other automation systems.
- Support plant improvements to enhance performance.
- Install, commission, and integrate new machinery and equipment.
- Hold a recognised qualification in engineering/electrical.
- Knowledge of 17th/18th edition wiring regulations.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and fault finding on PLCs.
- Understanding of food industry hygiene and safety standards (desirable).
This role is commutable from Heanor, Derby, Nottingham, Burton, Loughborough.
