Qualifications

• Hold a recognised qualification in engineering/electrical.
• Knowledge of 17th/18th edition wiring regulations.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and fault finding on PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machines.
• Support plant improvements to enhance performance.
• Install, commission, and integrate new machinery and equipment.

Job description

Maintenance Electrician

Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm.
Salary: £48,000.
Location: Heanor, Derbyshire.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machines, control panels, motors, sensors, PLCs, and other automation systems.
• Support plant improvements to enhance performance.
• Install, commission, and integrate new machinery and equipment.

Requirements

• Hold a recognised qualification in engineering/electrical.
• Knowledge of 17th/18th edition wiring regulations.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and fault finding on PLCs.
• Understanding of food industry hygiene and safety standards (desirable).

This role is commutable from Heanor, Derby, Nottingham, Burton, Loughborough.
