Job summary
A legal services provider in Cardiff is seeking a Solicitor to undertake legal work and advise on Procurement, Contracts, and Local Government matters. The role includes drafting documentation and representing the Client in various legal forums. This is a full-time temporary position offering a competitive path for legal professionals with a focus on procurement law.
Qualifications
- Experience in legal work related to Procurement and Contracts.
- Ability to advise on legal matters and represent clients in Court.
- Strong skills in drafting documents and contracts.
Responsibilities
- Advise on Procurement, Contractual, and Local Government law matters.
- Draft procurement documentation, contracts, and statutory orders.
- Perform all necessary legal work related to legal Services functions.
To undertake legal work within the relevant functional area and to advise on legal matters; to act on the Client's instructions as a Solicitor; and where necessary and appropriate to represent the Client in Court and at Tribunals, hearings, mediations and inquiries. The relevant functional area is Procurement, Contracts and general local Government matters. The work will include advising on Procurement, Contractual as well as other non-contentious Local Government law matters; drafting procurement documentation, contracts, statutory orders and other documentation; and carrying out any other legal work necessary for the performance of the legal Services functions
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
