Responsibilities
- Take instructions and prepare Wills, Codicils, and Affidavits.
- Prepare and register Powers of Attorney.
- Administer estates and prepare IHT400 forms.

A new opportunity has arisen for our clients near Ware for their progressive Probate Administration Company. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Qualified Private Client Solicitor up to 3 years pqe, or a Private Client Legal Executive, or an experienced Private Client Paralegal with relevant experience to join their friendly Wills and Probate team. (The role can be full or part-time).
The successful candidate will work alongside their in-house Solicitor and an established team of Administrators to develop and enhance their skills.
You should be confident, proactive, and organized, willing to assist with tasks including, but not limited to:
- Taking instructions and preparing Wills, Codicils, Deeds of Variation, Affidavits
- Preparing Powers of Attorney, including registration
- Administering taxable and non-taxable estates, including preparing IHT400 forms and relevant schedules
- Having a basic understanding of trusts and their tax implications
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified solicitor seeking to advance their career within a growing, service-driven company.
Occasional client visits will be required; own car essential.
Skills & Requirements: A NQ-3 YR PQE Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive or experienced Paralegal with knowledge of Wills, Codicils, LPAs, Deeds, Affidavits, Trusts, and Probate Administration.
