Job summary
A top-tier regional law firm in the UK is seeking a Residential Property Legal Secretary to provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have experience within residential property/conveyancing, strong organisational and communication skills, and proficiency in managing legal documents. This position offers a salary of £28,000 plus benefits, and is based in Hampshire.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Legal Secretary within Residential Property/Conveyancing.
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process.
- Proficient in managing client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support.
- Prepare and format legal documents, including contracts and statements.
- Manage diaries, appointments, and client onboarding.

- Handling search requests, Land Registry applications, and client onboarding
- Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and coordinating meetings
- Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
- Audio typing and digital dictation
- Ensuring compliance and maintaining accurate file management
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within Residential Property/Conveyancing
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- Confident communication skills and a polished, professional manner
- Fast, accurate typing and solid IT skills
- A proactive approach with a genuine commitment to client service
