Senior Property Legal Officer – Full Time – Fully Remote – Initial 3 Months+ – £25–£30 per hour Umbrella

Venn Group’s specialist Legal team are pleased to be recruiting for an excellent opportunity to join a Local Authority in the wider South East region as a Senior Legal Officer specialising in Property. This role is well suited to someone seeking a secure, consistent caseload within a supportive team, while benefiting from fully remote working.

The Role:

Position: Senior Property Legal Officer. Duration: Initial 3 months with possibility of extension. Rate: £25–£30 per hour (Umbrella). Working Pattern: Full time or part time considered. Working Arrangement: Fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a high-volume Property caseload with a strong emphasis on Right to Buy matters
  • Drafting and preparing legal documentation and managing transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Conducting title investigations and preparing comprehensive title reports
  • Handling all related enquiries and ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation
Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience within Local Authority property work
  • Strong understanding of Right to Buy processes and associated legislation
  • Confident in title investigation, drafting, and handling complex enquiries
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage a busy caseload independently
