Job summary
A highly regarded family law practice in London is seeking a Family Law Paralegal for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with high-quality family law matters, including attending court hearings, drafting documents, and conducting legal research. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work closely with partners and senior lawyers, gaining hands‑on exposure to a wide range of high‑quality family law matters.
- Attend court hearings and client meetings
- Draft initial correspondence and court documents
- Conduct legal research and prepare court bundles
- Assist with costs schedules, bills, and general administrative support
- A strong academic background (minimum 2:1 degree)
- At least 6 months' experience in a family law practice
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and commitment to excellence
