A leading insurance law firm is seeking an Assistant Lawyer to join its Property Risks and Coverage Team in Bolton. This role involves handling your own caseload, collaborating on significant property damage claims, and participating in training and workshops. The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with experience in property insurance claims and excellent interpersonal skills. Qualifications

  • Solicitor with experience in defendant property insurance claims.
  • Understanding of disputes handled by the department.
  • Strong prioritization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a caseload from start to finish.
  • Assist lead lawyer with large and complex cases.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and legal research.

Skills

Legal Qualification: Solicitor/FILEX
Previous defendant property insurance claims experience
Thorough understanding of disputes and claims
Familiarity with insurance coverage disputes
Experience dealing with challenging customers
Strong ability to manage workload
Keen eye for detail
Comfortable working with case management systems
Excellent interpersonal skills
