Job summary

A well-respected local authority in the North West is seeking a Locum Litigation Legal Officer. This role covers civil litigation and debt recovery matters. The ideal candidate will handle licensing law, community safety, local government law, and GDPR compliance. Full-time availability is preferred, but part-time candidates will also be considered. Compensation ranges from £30 to £40 per hour. Applications from diverse backgrounds are encouraged and shortlisting will occur promptly.

Qualifications

The ideal Litigation Legal Officer will cover civil litigation and some debt recovery matters. Responsibilities may be including but not limited to:

  • Licensing law and public protection
  • Anti-social behaviour and community safety
  • Local Authority Housing
  • Debt recovery
  • GDPR, Data Protection and Freedom of Information
  • Local Government law and procedures

Although full-time availability is desirable, candidates offering part-time availability will be considered.
