A local education authority is seeking two dedicated Speech and Language Support Assistants to provide tailored support in a specialist provision. Responsibilities include assisting with educational plans, monitoring pupils’ progress, and promoting independence. Applicants should have a passion for communication and a can-do attitude. The MAT Trustees are looking to appoint two dedicated, compassionate individuals who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our children. You will join a fabulous team in our Speech and Language Specialist Resourced Base Provision at Canford Heath Junior School. One position is temporary (Maternity Cover) and one is permanent.
1 x Temporary Maternity Cover (required 3 November 2025 – 27 March 2026)
1 x Permanent (required ASAP)
30 hours per week, 8:15 am – 3:15 pm (1 hour lunch) for both roles. Term time only. Pay Grade: Grade E (7-9) £25,584 – £26,409 pro-rata (Actual Salary – c. £17,225 – £17,781).

The TEACH Poole Multi Academy Trust was formed in April 2015. Ofsted has graded all four of our schools as good or outstanding. We are a popular, oversubscribed, forward-thinking trust with supportive staff and fantastic children. The Resourced Base Provision will cater for primary-age children (4–11), initially accommodating up to 15 children across two bases, with anticipated growth to a maximum of 35 children over the next three years.
