Reporting to the UK IT Service Delivery Team Manager, our ideal candidate will support in running the 24/7 Office Automation support of DP World UK Terminals. They will assist DP World UK employees with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.

Location: Southampton

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (Shift Pattern + additional on call shifts)

How will you contribute:

• Ensure timely resolution of calls within agreed SLAs.
• Record detailed information for call closures to aid future cases.
• Install software on desktops, laptops, VMTs, printers and more.
• Prepare new equipment using Standard Operating Environment (SOE) images.
• Support both corporate and personal mobile devices.
• Monitor and maintain backup and restore procedures.
• Continuously upskill staff on standard hardware and software, with a focus on Cyber Security.
• Collaborate with vendor support to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in the on-call rota of the IT Service Desk Team.
• Contribute to continuous business improvement and meeting business objectives.

What will you Bring:

• IT-related degree or equivalent qualification/experience.
• Microsoft qualifications and CompTIA A+ or equivalent are desirable.
• Excellent understanding of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft desktop administration tools and server design technology.
• Familiarity with large scale corporate network topology.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport are essential.

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• A full valid UK driving licence or appropriate international licence allowing you to drive on UK roads.
• No unspent criminal convictions.
• Due to manufacturing guidelines on equipment and site safety critical health and safety requirements, we have strict weight and medical requirements that need to be met and maintained. For our safety critical roles health and medical and fitness checks are performed. Requirements include, but are not limited to, weight, height, blood pressure and hearing.
• We may close our roles early, depending on the number of applications received.
