A procurement consultancy is looking for an Engines Category Leader in the UK for a 3-6 month contract. This remote position involves overseeing procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with global policies. Candidates should have a strong background in supply chain management, with 5-10 years of experience in Engines. Proficiency in purchasing tools and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Fluency in English is required, with French as a plus.
Role: Engines Category Leader - Generator Manufacturer - 3-6 Month Contract
Based: Home Based - UK Based - EMEA Remit
The Engine Category Procurement Leader oversees all procurement activities, driving cost improvement, supplier engagement, tariff and risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment. This role collaborates with internal and external teams to achieve procurement goals, ensures compliance with global policies, and supports strategic planning to align with business objectives.
Lead EMEA Engine procurement by managing cost projects, supplier relationships, and category strategies while reporting to senior leadership. Develop short and long-term plans, resolve resource conflicts, ensure compliance with global procurement processes, and support global purchasing priorities, including supplier capacity planning, cost optimisation, and occasional domestic/international travel.
