ROLE - Engines Category Leader - Generator Manufacturer - 3-6 Month Contract

Position Summary

The Engine Category Procurement Leader oversees all procurement activities, driving cost improvement, supplier engagement, tariff and risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment. This role collaborates with internal and external teams to achieve procurement goals, ensures compliance with global policies, and supports strategic planning to align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead EMEA Engine procurement by managing cost projects, supplier relationships, and category strategies while reporting to senior leadership. Develop short and long-term plans, resolve resource conflicts, ensure compliance with global procurement processes, and support global purchasing priorities, including supplier capacity planning, cost optimisation, and occasional domestic/international travel.

Candidate - Engines Category Leader - Generator Manufacturer - 3-6 Month Contract

• Purchasing or supply chain history with proven experience (5 -10 years minimum) in Engines.
• Proficiency in purchasing tools (ERP, e-sourcing) and negotiation techniques
• Professional English required, French would be a plus
• Analytical skills, rigor, autonomy and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in project mode and manage priorities.
• Remote role and located in the UK.
