A leading facilities management company in Worthing is seeking an experienced FM Contract Project Manager to oversee Hard FM services across educational establishments. Responsibilities include delivering maintenance services, managing staff, and ensuring compliance. Are you an experienced FM leader ready to take ownership of a complex, high-profile contract? We're looking for a skilled FM Contract Project Manager to oversee Hard FM services across three educational establishments and a communal facility, ensuring exceptional service standards and full compliance with contractual and statutory obligations.
This is a pivotal role leading the contract through to the PFI handback in March 2028, with responsibility for strategic lifecycle planning, asset stewardship, operational performance and customer excellence. As the FM Contract Project Manager, you will be accountable for the efficient delivery of Hard FM services, including:
We're looking for someone with a strong background in FM leadership who can deliver operational excellence while maintaining a proactive approach to customer service and contract performance.
Extensive FM management experience, ideally 10+ years at senior level.
Proven track record managing complex service contracts.
Strong people management capabilities with experience leading professional teams.
Excellent IT skills, including MS Office.
Health & Safety experience and ability to conduct detailed audits and investigations.
Solid project management experience.
Ability to prepare clear, accurate reports and present complex information.
Knowledge of SFG20.
Experience of AP and RP structures.
PFI experience, particularly in education environments.
NEBOSH qualification.
BIFM membership / qualification.
Fire safety, legionella management or CDM experience.
Additional project management qualifications.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational abilities with excellent prioritisation skills.
Commercially astute with strong analytical abilities.
Customer-focused with a proactive mindset.
Highly motivated, flexible and able to work independently.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management.
