Job summary
A housing compliance agency in the City Of London is seeking a dedicated professional to manage inspections and enforcement related to private housing. You will work to improve housing quality through compliance investigations and collaborative efforts with landlords and tenants. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of housing legislation and be skilled in communication and report writing.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the Housing Act 2004 and related housing enforcement legislation.
- Demonstrable experience conducting HHSRS assessments and housing condition inspections.
- Confidence preparing and serving statutory notices and managing enforcement casework.
Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections of privately rented properties under the HHSRS.
- Investigate complaints relating to poor housing conditions.
- Prepare and serve enforcement notices when required.
